I just posted an Article I had written about a year ago regarding hyperbaric and the treatment of Autism.  Personally, I believe that with most neurological conditions, Autism included... the therapy is highly undervalued and greatly over-complicated.  I hope this article helps to shed some light for those of you who have heard the "this and that" about hyperbaric and autism and whom are left confused and hesitant.  In the end, you never know what any therapy holds in benefit until you try it!

Success for my son!

I purchased a less expensive chamber to use with my son, Mark, at home. He has made many small and many major gains since starting hbot nearly a year ago. He loves and begs to get in. He takes in a portable DVD player and a pillow. Kinda like a getaway. We noticed changes in his desire to be more social and seeking out conversation within a few weeks. Approaching family he never cared to notice before and commenting things like: "You have glasses on your eyeballs" and "Hey, what are guys doing?" His character changed and he finds things funny that he didn't before. My son also receives ABA Therapy on a regular basis. Mark was tested, using a VBMAPP test, a few weeks prior to starting hbot and then 4 months later. His scores jumped 30 points! His therapists bragged at how quickly he was progressing and not needing as many repititions to get something learned. I then revealed he was getting hbot. Of course I feel that just hbot alone would not of been enough...I believe that the ABA Therapy retrains the brain and that the hbot gave him more brain cells to utilize. For my son they went hand in hand. Is my son cured..no. But he is on his way to recovery. Mark could not write on a line..now he can. He could only scribble..now he stays in the lines. He could say his letter sounds..now he can put them together to read them. He would play alone and be shy...now he tells everyone his name and asks them to play. He is typical at the playground...he seeks out playmates. I believe Mark's missing piece is in his brain. We have done numerous biomed interventions and hbot, mb12 injections, and diets have been our biggest hitters. We have recently began introducing sprouted grains, raw and fermented foods, and do the blood type diet as well as blue green algae, phosphatidyl choline, and homeopathic remedies. We continue to see gains and are excited for Mark to start first grade.
